Brown Paper Packages Tied Up with String, These are a Few of my Favorite Things! Merry Christmas!
It’s that time of year when we all fall in love with getting ready for Christmas again. Wrapping and
finding the favorite thing for gifting and bringing home. That’s why you have us to help you make dreams come true. We have the most wonderful fresh ways to celebrate and decorate this holiday season.
Lets start out by showing off our grand new holiday quilt collection. We have everything from vintage, classic to modern farmhouse to love, rich lush greenery, garlands, trees, some are lit and others you can light up yourself, amazing amaryllis that are wrapped and ready to gift or enjoy in your home. They are so real looking Krista and I thought they were real when we saw them in the window. When we walked in and there they were ready to buy, we were over the moon, giddy for sure. The price is definitely right for these beauties @$43.75 and $48.00 and what a special forever
gift.
I am totally excited over our new Santa collection, they are different for sure but classic, then there are angels that never go out of style, ornaments, signs, table top accessories to spruce your tablescapes and enhance entertaining. loving our napkins and the battery candles are the biggest and best ever
. Do you know we have a touch candle to turn it on and you blow it out when you are going off to bed. They come on automatically too. I love these, I used the tapers in old silver candle holders on my table for Thanksgiving. I have them
on my mantle and they are the epitome of
decorating with JOY! You can add the little boxwood candle rings, a little special ribbon and you are good to go. Samplers and needlework accessories are the frosting to decorating for a season. I have enjoyed stitching more this year than I have in years. I guess it has become a way to diminish stress and find comfort and joy. That is truly what handwork is all about. If
you haven’t tried it I highly recommend the benefits you will get. Your imagination and creativity is sure to soar.
This is Barb’s quilt known as “Christmas in My Heart” it measures 59″ x 76″ and kitted sells for $121.50, you will need the pattern @ $10.00.
The sampler you are seeing is “Mary Lindsay 1828”. The pattern is $20.00 and is also available as a kit.
The next beauty to think about is called “Boughs of Holly” and Mary is the maker of this quilt. “Boughs of Holly” is 59″ x 72″ and kitted sells for $102.00. Pattern is needed and sells for $9.00. It is displayed in our beautiful vintage sleigh, a great tin Merry Christmas sign and our prim angel.
“Christmas-ish” is another favorite quilt we love because it reads neutral, we
pulled from our great collection of red and green shirtings, when we say Christmas-ish it is exactly a bit of Christmas in a subtle way. Christmas-ish
kitted is $110.75 and the pattern is in one of most
popular book called Sweater Weather.
“Hannah Jenkinson” 1778 is pictured on the bed and is another great sampler from of our favorite designers Stacy Nash.
Barb and Mary have done some great table toppers for the season as they always do. It’s Snowing in the Pines is a great centerpiece or could be a luncheon topper. It measures 38″ x 38″, sell kitted for $46.50. You will also need backing and the pattern which is $10.00.
Barb also did Royal Albert which is 19″ x 56″ and kitted sells for $33.50. This is a great companion to the Marche’s de Noel quilt which sells for $175.00 and the pattern is included in the beautifully boxed kit. The
fabric is so classic and beautiful and was designed by 3 Sisters. So good.
More inspiration: Mary’s topper is a runner called “Under Wraps”.
It is 25″ x 55″, the kit includes the backing and binding and sells for $70.00.
The pattern is needed for $9.00. You will love how the presents go around the outside making up the border and two Noble Fir to top it all off are left to grace the middle. This is and easy piece and so festive.
I am anxious for this new pattern to arrive. Barb has just finished it and the sampler is great, the deer, the birds , the trees and the house and it says it all “Merry Christmas”. We will be kitting this just not sure on what yet.
I can hardly wait to get it and I know you will love it too. Expected in after the 15th of December so we hope before we close the shop on the 23rd. FYI: The Winds of Autumn is on its way to our door and this Blackbird book will be another favorite. Loving autumn and a reprint of some of their very best sellers you will not be disappointed. It is on line and can be ordered for $30.00.
